# Get an Agent Research Object

GET https://api.caesar.xyz/agents/research/{id}

Returns a token-aware research object without results.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `id` (string, required) — Research job identifier.

## Response

### 200

Agent research object.

- `status` (enum, required) — Current status of the research job: - `queued`: Job accepted, waiting to start - `searching`: Gathering sources from the web - `researching`: Processing and analyzing sources - `analyzing`: Deep analysis of gathered information - `summarizing`: Generating final synthesis - `completed`: Research finished successfully - `failed`: Research encountered an error
  - Allowed values: `queued`, `searching`, `summarizing`, `analyzing`, `completed`, `failed`, `researching`
- `query` (string, required) — Original research query.
- `content` (string, required, nullable) — Synthesized research content. Null until complete.

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Unauthorized — invalid or missing API key.

### 404 Not Found Error

Resource not found.

- `error` (string, required) — Human-readable error description.

### 500 Internal Server Error

Internal server error.
